Apple USB Mouse
Published with the iMac G3 in 1998 and included with every Mac desktop for the next 2 successive years, the tour "Hockey puck" USB mouse is widely considered one of the worst mistakes of Apple. Marking the passage of the ADB, the mouse colored translucent has been a radical change from his predecessors, to a ball whose surface floated past two tones the user's eyes as he spun under the translucent case of the mouse. But style, round mouse is widely considered clunky, because of its small size and tendency to turn in use. This was a major cause of the success of Griffin iMate ADB to USB adapters, as they allowed the use of older more comfortable ADB II mouse for use with new iMac. Later revisions included a shallow indentation on the front of the button, but it was not enough to prevent a flood of third-party products such as icatch a shell that is attached to the USB mouse to give the mouse form of ADB elliptical. Another shortcoming introduced Apple USB mice, shared by all the offers of Apple USB cord is short atypical. Although intended to be used through the hub built into Apple keyboard, Apple's transition to USB coincided with the relocation of the ports on their laptops from the center toward the left edge. As none of the Apple USB mouse cords more than two feet, they are not practical for most right-handers. In 2000, the Apple USB Mouse has been replaced by the Apple Pro Mouse.
