Sharp Al-1655Cs laser copier / scanner / printer
INFORMATION: The Sharp AL-1655CS All-In-One offers copying, scanning and printing features of previous models, and an Ethernet network connectivity and duplex 2 of 2 original face.
PROS:
At 51 pounds, the copier all-in-One has an area of 20.4 "X 19.8". The copier is a little large to put on a desk, but you feel at home on any trunk, and the second paper tray that brings to a comfortable height for a person standing next to her to manually make copies or scans.

The two-drawer feature is especially nice in a real estate office where legal documents or legal-size and standard are often used. Non-standard sizes from 3 "x 5" to 8 ½ "x 14" may be placed alone on the platform scanning or up to 50 sheets placed on the multi-purpose flip-side of the tray on the copier.
CONS:
During his first of 16 ppm copy speed was impressive for a small copier. Indeed, the speed of 16 ppm can be achieved touted to lower resolution, but the warning for all printer specs. Do not expect fast printing speeds of 20 ppm or more which is typical monochrome laser printers.

During the evolution of toner people often forget to keep track when it is time to change the drum. Combo packages are available that provide the drum with various toners. When the toners are consumed, the rest of the drum is replaced. These combo packages, make easy maintenance and an overall increase in longevity and quality of printing.
SOFTWARE:
There are Sharp desktop software document management. The software does a decent job in giving you control of printing various device and scan functions.
Unfortunately, the software is only for Wintel machines. Sharp did state in its handbook that the AL-1655CS can be used by Apple computers via USB 2.0. But in reality, you must be running Mac OS 10.3 and higher the use of printing, and network scanning applications native to OS X or third party applications, like Photoshop.
