Film loading on school laminators
Using a school laminator is pretty simple, but loading the film so you can use the laminator can be quite tricky. The most popular reason for laminator repair calls is improperly loaded film. Service calls can be costly, so learning to load film is very important. Incorrectly loaded film can deposits film on the rollers and if you're not careful can ruin your machine. If the adhesive is on the rolls, the machine will not work until the rest of the film is removed. Four ways to end up with glue on the following rolls:
* Laminating when only one roll has been loaded into the laminator
* Try to use two widths of inadequate film together
* Load the film upside down so that the adhesive sides of the roll (Keep in mind that the side polished surfaces of the laminating film rolls, and the adhesive side faces.)
* A roll of film runs out while the other one continues to run.
Replace the two rolling rolls of film at a time using the following steps.
1) Turn the main switch. If your machine is already hot, turn it off and let it cool before continuing.
2) Look at the two rolls of laminate that are mounted on the laminator by removing the feeding table.
3) Find the rest of the film strips up and down (looking between hot rollers and feed rolls) and cut. Be careful so you do not accidentally cut the rolls, as this can damage them.
4) Raise the shield upright and roll the top film.
5) Take the film from the laminator. You can do this by running the machine slowly backwards. Be careful when you do this so you do not accidentally touch the adhesive on the rollers and make a mess. To do this, you can set the table feed replacing. Remember to remove the feeding table when you have finished removing film.
6) Drag the bottom roll of film clockwise to release the brake hex hub. Search on the left side of the bottle feeding of film and loosen the screw on the left collar. Pull the cylinder a little, then slide it into the heart left to loosen. Pull the cylinder from the tube to completely remove the core adapter.
7) Make sure the film is correctly positioned to pull down the right path, then drag one of the base maps on the right side of a roll film. Working from the right, drag the movie into the shaft tube and the core adapter. Put the remaining core adapter on the adapter base on the left. Put the collar from where it goes and tighten the screw.
Lower the bottom idle, then get ready to drop two feet in film rolling and pushing the bar at idle. Place the film laminated to the bottom of the cylinder. Put the bottom roll of laminating film back in the round hole on the frame and put the left side in the brake hub hex.
9) Repeat steps 6-7 after removing the top film power. Make sure that the film takes place from bottom after loading on the laminator.
10) Uncoil two feet of laminating film and place on the top bar of idle and more than two rolls.
11) Press the tray into position under the lower film web being located on top of the bottom roll of film. Reposition the feed table, positioning on the lower film the plateau.
12) between the laminate and the tray, slide the card into place by threading gently pushing in the PIN area roller heat. The card is now well placed to guide reels of film in rolls.
13) After lowering the shield, press RUN. Monitor carefully map thread for the leading edge is taken into the laminator. When the card is threaded at the rear of the laminator, press STOP.
