Our health is more important day after day and one of the best ways to stay healthy is to stay in balance. We review here a way to do so and make a living at the same time.
Before having children, I had a job as a physical education teacher I loved it. I've always been slim, healthy and had lots of energy. Once the children have grown up my life became a bit boring I just had to do something a little different.
I do return to school to teach PE, but knew it would be much time and probably would not leave me with much free time. I trawled the Internet for ideas and thoughts on working at home. This would give me time to do my chores and get back into the world of work. What to do? There were plenty of jobs available to answer envelopes, writing articles and tele-sales, but not very exciting.
Navigation on the Internet, I clicked on an ad on how to become a personal trainer. I must admit I thought I was past, especially for putting so much weight after my family. Failure regimes come and go, I realized I had become a couch potato, no energy. I knew things would change in the future.
I went to my local gym, she has experienced so much that I decided to become a personal trainer. After work-out sessions and recover playing tennis. books soon to fall. I began to feel healthy again, ready for a new challenge. Size does not matter that much if you want to be a personal trainer so as you can encourage others and have great enthusiasm.
I inquired about how become a personal trainer, read a lot of information on the Internet. The skills required are patience, persistence, be well organized and a good motivator to others while being a good listener - fortunately, I checked all the boxes.
I enrolled on a course-workshop pass the examinations leading to certification. I loved this job and I was delighted to find when the course was finished, I had passed with flying colors. He gave me a new life and a great sense of accomplishment. Now I had to find a place to put my expertise and learning in practice.
The idea of owning my own business really enjoyed it. I read online, how to register a company, choose a name business, obtain insurance and how to find a good location. Luck was on my side, one major studio has arrived and I caught it. I had a marketing plan and about printing flyers, newsletters and business cards.
Good friends of mine really helped, attended in my classes. They really appreciated the work sessions and the word quickly spread. Before I knew it, new customers have begun to appear, many of them preferring to have a tete-a-personal training work outs. I really like to help others achieve their goals and format. I can fully subscribe to become a personal trainer. If I can do it, you can do it, so why not give it a go?
If you want to lose weight and earn a living doing so, why not consider a personal trainer course. So many people are looking to keep healthy and one to one training is a favourite of many.
There are a wide range of courses in fitness available so go on, click through now and change your life forever.

Working $18.95 WITH A NEW FOREWORD BY ADAM COHEN OF THE NEW YORK TIMES. Perhaps Studs Terkel's best-known book, Working is a compelling look at jobs and the people who do them. Consisting of over one hundred interviews with everyone from a gravedigger to a studio head, from a policeman to a piano tuner, this book provides an enduring portrait of people's feelings about their working lives. "A powerful, original, indescribable and incredible book... Only an interviewer of genius, exploiting the tape recorder as hardly anyone else has done, could possibly have brought it forth." —Lewis Mumford. "A magnificent book... a work of art. To read it is to hear America talking." — Boston Globe. "Splendid... Important... Rich and fascinating... The people we meet are not digits in a poll but real people with real names who share their ancedotes, adventures, and aspirations with us." — Business Week. "The talk in Working is good talk--earthy, passionate, honest, sometimes tender, sometimes crisp, juicy as reality, seasoned with experience." — Washington Post. "Nothing could tell our children's children who and how and what we were the way Studs Terkel will. Is it possible the great American novelist is Terkel?" —Murray Kempton |

Working PeopleSmart $18.95 Bringing out the best in others is good business. When we bring both respect and interpersonal savvy to our work relationships, we do more than make people feel good. We enhance personal and organizational performance. And as the workplace grows more complex and competitive, managing our work relationships becomes even more essential and difficult. Now more than ever we need to work people smart. Working PeopleSmart describes the six core strategies used by people-smart individuals and shows how to apply them in the toughest workplace situations. Individuals who are people smart know how to open others up rather than make them defensive or resistant. They have a knack for diffusing tension rather than creating it. They set a good example through their own behavior on the job and can inspire and influence others with less developed skills. Working PeopleSmart can serve as your virtual coach to guide you through difficult work relationships skillfully. How do you deal with a critical colleague? Make your boss listen to you? React to an offensive joke? Get the resources you need? The authors look at over 50 real-life situations and offer people-smart prescriptions for handling them effectively. They provide coaching tips for each scenario and describe exactly what a people-smart response sounds like. As two psychologists with both organizational and clinical expertise, coauthors Mel Silberman and Freda Hansburg are highly qualified to deliver the message that we can emerge from even the toughest interpersonal moments on the job with dignity and grace. Where other books rely on typologies that categorize people according to their interpersonal styles and then offer advice on how to deal with each type, the strategies described in Working PeopleSmart are straightforward and universal. They can be used immediately to deal with any type of person or any situation, no matter how difficult or sensitive. |

Working with Images $53.95 Working With Images: The Art of Art Therapists is an effort to give voice to the artist aspect of our identity as art therapists. This book is about how the artists work, how they learned to do it, why they do it. This book will give you glimpses of the memories, and perhaps the scars, of the artists. Be honored. The artists in this book know that it is good to make art and they make good art. Through their work they demonstrate their faith in the product and the process. For some of them, art making is their anchor, in the turbulent world of helping professions. For some, images come in response to their clients. For all of them, making art deepens and enriches their lives. Working With Images: The Art of Art Therapists is a presentation of artworks and contextual essays by professional art therapists. This book is foreworded by Don Siedien and includes an introduction that addresses the structure, rationale and intent of this book. The introduction is followed by the artist-therapists' contributions. Each art therapist's selected artworks are presented on one full page in the text. Immediately following the art piece(s) is a brief biographical sketch, a photo of the art therapist and his or her artistÂ’s statement. From the very beginning of the art therapist profession in the United States there has been steady discussion of the relative importance of the 'artist' aspect of art therapies' professional identity. In the thirty years that the American Art Therapy Association has been in existence there have been few other topics that have generated as much interest and debate at the annual national conference. Over the past several years there has been growing interest in re-igniting our artistic passions and welcoming them back into our professional identity. This movement has been evidenced by a number of conference papers and workshops and professional journal articles focused on examining the integration of the artist and the therapist aspects of our work. Working With Images: The Art of Art Therapists presents art therapists as committed and serious, fine artists. This book will be a significant contribution to the literature, and identity, of the art therapy profession. |

Well, there was nothing that hard work—of the good old-fashioned cooking-and-cleaning kind—wouldn't cure. And Jake was going to see that Phyllida got plenty of that! He also found that kissing was an effective way of keeping Phyllida quiet…. |

Working in Health $24.99 Vanuatu is a traditionally male dominated and largely patriarchal society. Women have extremely low representation in parliament and in other decision making bodies. Despite this, women are increasingly involved in private sector development and in the market economy. Available statistics suggest that women own nearly 30 percent of all businesses and approximately 20 percent of small and medium-sized enterprises. Yet, government support for women’s economic empowerment and women in business has been limited, and reforms are needed to the general legal framework to ensure gender equality. This volume considers barriers to women doing business in Vanuatu using the World Bank Group’s Doing Business indicators as a framework. By analyzing the gender dimensions of the cost of doing business, it considers how to take forward reforms to benefit both women and men. The authors argue that designing and implementing these measures makes good economic sense and will ultimately benefit all businesses in Vanuatu – those run by women as well as men. |

Working Memory and Learning $30.95 Dr Tracy Alloway has been awarded the prestigious Joseph Lister Award from the British Science Association. 'The authors have written a guide for practitioners that is both highly practical, and yet based upon sound theoretical principles .This book achieves a successful, yet often elusive, link between theory, research and practice, and deserves to have a high readership. I will have no hesitation in recommending it to a range of readers' - Jane Mott, Support for Learning. 'This book fulfils its aim to explain working memory and the limits it places on children's classroom learning. For teachers it gives a very clear guide and fills a gap in understanding that can only lead to more child-centred approaches to teaching and learning' - Lynn Ambler, Support for Learning. 'A clear and accessible account of current theory and research, which is then applied to children's learning in the classroom..The range of strategies..are well grounded in theory derived from research and sit within a coherent conceptual model' - The Psychologist. 'An easy to read yet informative book that explains the concepts clearly and offers practitioners ways to support those with poor working memory in the classroom' - SNIP. `The topic of working memory nowadays tends to dominate discussions with teachers and parents, and both groups can helpfully be directed to this easy-to-read but serious text (it) is likely to prove a turning-point in the management and facilitation of hard-to-teach children. In a situation muddied by ever-multiplying syndromes and disorders, this book delivers a clarifying and reassuring isolation of the major cognitive characteristic that cuts across all the boundaries and leaves the class teacher and SENCO empowered. I think very highly of the book and shall be recommending it steadily' - Martin Turner, Child Center for Evaluation and Teaching, Kuwait. Susan Gathercole is winner of the British Psychological Society's President's Award for 2007. A good working memory is crucial to becoming a successful learner, yet there is very little material available in an easy-to-use format that explains the concept and offers practitioners ways to support children with poor working memory in the classroom. This book provides a coherent overview of the role played by working memory in learning during the school years, and uses theory to inform good practice. Topics covered include: -the link between working memory skills and key areas of learning (such as literacy & numeracy) -the relationship between working memory and children with developmental disorders -assessment of children for working memory deficits -strategies for supporting working memory in under-performing children. This accessible guide will help SENCOs, teachers, teaching assistants, speech and language therapists and educational psychologists to understand and address working memory in their setting. |
