tonometry Diaton is a unique approach to measuring intraocular pressure without touching the surface of the eye, takes Diaton tonometry reading on the eyelid top and sclera. This revolutionary method tonometry allows physicians to obtain the intraocular pressure without the influence of the thickness corneal center (CTC) and other known and unknown properties and biometric parameters of the cornea.
Unlike to Goldmann tonometry is based on Imbert-Fick law and is performed by CTC and other parameters of the cornea and corneal diseases, where small area of the membrane is flattened to measure the internal fluid pressure.
