How Do Photofacial or Intense Pulsed Light Anti Non-surgical-Aging Skin Care Treatments Work?
IPL Photofacial or anti-aging skin care use a flash light visible light, like light from a camera flash to remove vessels and blood pigment non-surgical skin. This pulsed light flashed or is very different from a laser in most cases, less powerful and less dangerous than the laser light.
I use Photofacial IPL machine IPL called LuxGreen made by Palomar Medical Laser Company in Burlington, Massachusetts. Palomar Medical is the leading manufacturer of machines and laser aesthetics Light therapy in the world. The LuxGreen Photofacial Photofacial technology is the best I've ever used. IPL Photofacial LuxGreen the machine is very efficient and most comfortable for you the patient of any IPL device available.
Photofacial skin rejuvenation works by passing a bolt of light through a filter that allows only a specific color of light in the flash to pass through the filter and click on the skin. In the case of Photofacial LuxGreen, only light with a wavelength of 550 nm (nm = nanometer, or one millionth of a meter is measuring the wavelength of green light in the spectrum of visible light) pass through the filter and IPL reaches the skin.
IPL LuxGreen 550nm light is absorbed selectively or decided by the brown pigment in an age spot or red-brown blood in a blood vessel. When light energy Photofacial is absorbed by the pigment or blood vessel, heat light or IPL Photofacial destroys the pigment or blood vessel by heating. This process is called photothermolysis specific target. A specific objective, which is a color, heat (thermal) with light (photo) of the beam and dissolved or destroyed (Lysis).

What is my skin Like immediately after a skin treatment Photofacial?
Unlike lasers, which can cause skin peeling and possibly scarring, Lux Green IPL treatments are very gentle on the skin. The pigment in brown spots or age spots, dark very slightly, and the treated blood vessel will also darken a bit. However, the skin is intact. The treated areas may also be slightly pink for a few hours.
We put ice or a cool pack on the treated area immediately and can also make skin pink. However, the color pink can be covered with makeup immediately. You can return to work. And your skin will be close to normal the next day.
T treatment by intense pulsed light Skin Care Hurt?

Who should I see for my intense pulsed light (IPL) skin care?
The best machines IPL are in a doctor's office. Less powerful machines IPL are allowed to be used in spas, but the results are not as effective with these decommissioned machines. In my experience patients do not get the results they want in a spa, and often come to my practice for treatment repeated at IPL LuxGreen having already spent money for IPL in a spa.
The other advantage of having your IPL treatment in a doctor's office is that you will be examined by a doctor who can properly diagnose your condition skin. Some brown spots are dangerous and require medical assessment and should not be treated with intense pulsed light. If you have rosacea or major blood vessels on the face, another treatment is needed. These are medical treatments and should be done in a physician office. Your skin will be assessed for more severe conditions of the skin, and you will receive more effective Intense Pulsed Light skin care treatments.
How can I find a good doctor to do my treatment with intense pulsed light Skin Care?
Light and laser based non-surgical treatments skin rejuvenation are best done by a doctor who is well trained and specialize in anti-aging skin. Your safest bet is to seek consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist who has experience in laser and light based therapies such as light Intense Pulse.
I'm obviously biased because I am a board certified plastic surgeon. However, a plastic surgeon is trained and able to provide the full range of non-surgical and surgical anti aging procedures and skin treatments can customize your skin your unique face. Physicians who can not provide all the treatments are tempted to "Responding to your unique face" in the treatment of skin including they offer, and it's not the best situation for you.
