Matrix printers are not a blast from the past
Everyone is jumping on board to the newer technology and has to offer. It is not truer than the printer market. color photo printers have been a growing market for years. While continuing to lower prices, many of these wonders the modern technological age is not even need a computer to be connected to print photos directly from your camera digital. These marvels can print directly connect using USB or a common connection simply remove the flash memory device and place it in the printer.
While the growth of laser printing for stationery and printing color photography is undeniable, there is an older technology that is essential to the execution of many of the day to day business operations throughout the country. It is considered by many who do not understand the critical nature of this technology as nothing more than obsolete.
for all the fantastic technology offered in today's laser color printers and photo quality, there is something none of them have been able to do. This thing is absolutely essential for companies and was not replaced for decades. We speak of course the ability to make multiple forms.
And this technology is the humble dot matrix printer. Now do not laugh. Businesses that deal with the general public need 1 or more copies of completed forms. These forms have historically been written by hand and must still be done manually if not for dot matrix printing technology.
Here's why:
