The Pinnacle Pro 901 features a large 4.3 inch touch screen capacitive, can scan and print double-sided, use separate reservoirs for each of its ink colors, and claims of ink costs only about Β£ 5 for 500 pages.
The first printed pages demo looked very impressive for an inkjet ink on ordinary paper, without tangible bands and only a few noticeable dithering.

In the long run, it works, but you have to manually scan each page twice, helping to make both sides more scanning software hack rather than a material response.
The large capacitive touch screen is perfectly designed. Of course, he picks up a good amount spots, but that's why Lexmark includes a cleaning cloth. The functions of the touch screen keyboard good enough, and the amount of transition and sequences animated background really shows quality of the screen. The one and only thing that removes it is set at an angle defined, well suited to interact with him when placed on a desk. Looking at the past 2 decades, inkjet printers have really come a long way. Lexmark is a major player in regard to the simple printing and scanning. Exactly what distinguishes this from other MFPs will be exactly how the work of special options. Duplexing is a victory. Double-sided scanning, not really. The autoloader is noisy, but handles well the text, but may have problems with full-page graphics.
Who is this printer, then? The standalone document characteristics are the most interesting especially for someone with a laptop as main computer. If you leave your laptop at work or on campus, you can always read the pages and send them to you or upload pictures to Picassa. In a pinch, there are applets newsreader that can deliver the securities in recent years. If you do not want not bother with a desktop computer, this could be the single most valuable for your home office.
