Books for Visual reluctant readers
If your child is having difficulty reading, so they can be a visual learner and could meet to books with more pictures than text.
There is no doubt that children learn at their own pace. Some children can read fluently at the age of seven, while others may have difficulty with the basic text for a while before something clicks.
The best way to encourage your child to enjoy books without the pressure reading is necessarily give them books that are spare or a visual interactive element. Here are some examples:
Comics
Comics through a stage in the 1950s when they were regarded as the scourge of juvenile delinquency. Opinions have changed and have even comics. There are comic books or graphic novels wonderful can encourage children to become interested in reading without forcing them to read the words in order to get the gist of the story.
In telling the story in sequential images, readers can understand the basic flow of the story of the action, from expressions facial and other visual cues. For the beginner or emerging check readers to titles like Bone by Jeff Smith or The Dreamland Chronicles by Scott Christian Sava. Both are fantasy tales with wonderful graphics, very engaging.
Interactive books
Leapfrog has been in the interactive game to book a number of years. Leapfrog their system was a great success and their latest interactive system book, the reader Tag, recently won Toy of the Year for 2009.
Using a battery of the pen used "reader" the system interacts with words and images on specially designed books, not only reading words but also to encourage understanding through games. The books are available for young readers but also for those who have come late to reading and may be franchises like Ben 10 or Star Wars.
Both styles of the book is highly recommended to help reluctant readers develop a love for books, even before they feel comfortable reading.
