The difference between printing direct thermal and thermal transfer Label
AND direct thermal labels, thermal transfer
label printers generally print labels such as bar codes using the technology of heat transfer or thermal Direct. Thermal transfer printing uses ribbon heated to print the material, while in direct thermal printing there is no tape involved, and the printing is done directly on labels.
