Thermal inkjet color in one device - HP OfficeJet 6210
With a full range of standard features such as multi-functional printing faxing, and copying capabilities, coupled with convenient, user-friendly additions such as direct photo printing, the HP OfficeJet 6210 shines as a useful device that allows residential access of individuals to many devices combined into one.
With printing Direct photo, the HP OfficeJet 6210 can operate as an autonomous unit and print directly from a compatible camera PictBridge-connected or other electronic device. A front USB port allows easy connection of this new industry standard format of electronic communication. Unfortunately, without using a PC host connected, photos can be printed at a resolution 1200 points per inch. This is due to improved image resolution made possible by the host-based printing which can make photo quality up to 4800 x 1200 dots per inch.
Other useful features built into the unit HP OfficeJet 6210 includes a sheet automatic document feeder 20 that is ideal for hands-free copying, faxing and scanning multi-page projects. Copies and scans can be done in full, vibrant colors, and the MFC supports even faxing color. Black and white fax in high resolution at 300 x 300 dots per inch, but the color faxes slightly behind with only 200 x 200 dots per inch in quality.
Black and white print speeds can approach 23 pages per minute, but only mode project, while the color speed is capped at 18 pages per minute, also in draft mode. Although the parameters of much higher resolution are feasible, they will come at a cost to the overall speed. HP photorefractive III enables 1200 x 1200 dpi monochrome output, and 4800 dpi in color. Resolution Copying is also quite remarkable, with a maximum of 4800 x 1200 dpi for both color and monochrome graphics and up 600 x 1200 dpi for text.
Unfortunately, as a programmed primarily for personal use, the device HP OfficeJet 6210 offers only a very limited number of maximum monthly duty cycle of 3,000 pages total. For optimum life of the product, it is recommended that production and much less be required of the printer. That said, the machine still manages to provide access to a wide range of functions the user home on a budget, such as fax modem with the built in 33.6 Kbps fax that can send and receive data at a rate of about 3 seconds per page.
Copy frame rates at 15 pages per minute in monochrome and 10 pages per minute in color. HP also offers service to customers, including one year limited warranty and replacement plan, and user commands and menus accessible via an online Text 2 LCD. The HP OfficeJet 6210 memory 's comes standard with 16 MB and can be upgraded to a total of 32 MB, which adds a degree of versatility to this mainly unexpand four in a desktop solution, making it a smart purchase for the home user.
